Jonathan H. Avery, MAI, SRA, CRE

Jonathan H. Avery, MAI, SRA, CREMr. Avery is Founding Principal of the firm of Avery Associates located in Acton, Massachusetts. Avery Associates is involved in a variety of real estate appraisal and consulting activities including: market value estimates, marketability studies, feasibility studies, and general advice and guidance on real estate matters to public, private and corporate clients.

Mr. Avery has has more than 30 years of appraisal experience in addition to having served as arbitrator and counselor in a variety of proceedings and negotiations involving real estate. He is designated by the Appraisal Institute as MAI and SRA, The Counselors of Real Eastate as CRE and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a general certified appraiser in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and a licensed Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts. During 1993, he served as an appraisal consultant for the Eastern European Real Property Foundation in Poland. He has been actively engaged in the real estate business since 1967 and established Avery Associates in 1979.

Christopher H. Bowler, MAI, SRA

Christopher H. Bowler, MAI, SRAPresently an associate member of the firm of Avery Associates, Acton, Massachusetts. Avery Associates handles a wide variety of real estate appraisal and consulting assignments. Mr. Bowler has prepared appraisals on the following types of real property: office buildings, industrial buildings, research and development facilities, hotels/motels, golf courses, restaurants, medical buildings, auto dealerships, truck terminals, warehouses, bank branches, shopping centers, apartment complexes, commercial and industrial condominium units and buildings, lumber yards, service stations, industrial mill buildings, and cranberry bogs.Mr. Bowler’s experience also includes the appraisal of one to four family dwellings, condominium units, proposed residential subdivisions, and condominium projects. Also, Mr. Bowler has aided in the development of market studies on commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Mr. Bowler has more than 20 years of appraisal experience. He has prepared appraisals for many types of real property including: office buildings, industrial buildings, research and development facilities, hotels/motels, golf courses, restaurants, medical office buildings, laboratory buildings, auto dealerships, truck terminals, warehouses, bank branches, shopping centers, apartment complexes, commercial and industrial condominium units and buildings, lumber yards, service stations, industrial mill buildings, and cranberry bogs.

Mr. Bowler is recognized as a leader in his field including service as president of the Massachusetts chapter of the Appraisal Institute, which has designated him as an MAI and SRA member. He has indepth experience in the analysis of real estate markets as they affect valuation. Mr. Bowler has also prepared market studies involving commercial, industrial and residential proposed developments.

Richard W. Bernklow, SRA

Richard W. Bernklow, SRA

Richard Bernklow is a real estate appraiser with nearly 20 years of experience in the valuation of residential, commercial and industrial properties. He is a general certified appraiser in Massachusetts. The Appraisal Institute has designated him as an SRA member. He serves as a national experience reviewer for the Appraisal Institute providing support for the admissions process.

Mr. Bernklow has worked as both an independent appraiser and as an employee of appraisal several firms throughout his career. He has served as the Chaiman of the Board of Assessors in Stow, Massachusetts and as a tax representative for clients seeking abatements of taxes before a number of municipalities. Appraisal assignments have been completed in the following states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island with most emphasis recently on Massachusetts properties.

Keith F. Shoneman, SRA

Keith F. Shoneman, SRA

Keith Shoneman is a real estate appraiser with more than 6 years of experience in the valuation of residential real estate.

An SRA member of the Appraisal Institute and a certified residential appraiser in Massachusetts, Mr. Shoneman worked first as a contract appraiser and now as an employee of Avery Associates throughout his career. Appraisal assignments have primarily focused on divorce, estate, relocation, financial planning, and new construction for consumer banks.

Assignments include single-family residential properties, land appraisal and 1-4 family properties. Mr. Shoneman has worked in Middlesex, Essex, and southern and northern Worcester counties of Massachusetts.
